Vision Innovative, socially responsible, and environmentally friendly startups and SMEs are able to create impactful change among key industries in the Palestinian economy. Now is the time to shift the Palestinian business ecosystem to a Green model, pioneered by new, resilient, and sustainable enterprises. Join Green ecosystem builders and create global partnerships, secure financing, and learn from leaders from around the world.
Palestinian businesses are at a disadvantage in the global market due to a lack of connectivity, global partnerships, and technological innovation. The food, agro-business, and clean technologies industries are lagging in innovation, technology, and competition. The Innovation in Green Economy (GreenUp) Congress seeks to address the gaps within the agro-business and clean technologies industries while supporting global partnerships and fomenting a local culture of responsible entrepreneurship. Launched by BCITE (The Business Centre for Innovation Technology)/ Al Quds University in partnership with Al Quds Open University (QOU) and the Entrepreneurial and Economic Empowerment E3 Hub, GreenUp seeks to bring together startups, job-seekers, entrepreneurs, SMEs, investors, and leaders in the field to share ideas, work together, and bring innovative solutions for the Green sector. The Congress, partly carried out to commemorate Global Entrepreneurship Week, will not only further the Entrepreneurial ecosystem in Palestine, but also establish a yearly one-stop event for Palestinian entrepreneurs to grow their ideas, share them, and find financing opportunities in relevant sectors for the local market. For this reason, we encourage all entrepreneurs to join us in the congress, as those with the most innovative ideas will be hosted for incubation under BCITE’s and E3 Hub’s programs, and will have a chance to visit and explore the U.S business ecosystem.
Participants include ecosystem builders from around Palestine and the world. GreenUp will bring together the following groups:
