Dr. Mohammed Sharaf

Mohammad Sharaf is an assistant Professor in the Department of “ Computer Science Apprenticeship Program” and coordinator for master programs of smart systems engineering at An-Najah National University, where he has been since 2008. He received a B.S. from Computer Engineering An-Najah National University, and an M.Sc. from the Computer Engineering at Jordan University for Science and Technology. He received his Ph.D. in Computer Science from the University of L’Aquila, Italy. His research interests span the internet of things and software engineering. Much of his work has been on improving the understanding, design, and performance of the internet of things. Mainly through the application of smart systems, smart agriculture, smart cities and smart building. Dr. Mohammad Sharaf is the author of twenty seven papers on IoT. He is a software architect and engineer for many projects. He is leading research on software architecture descriptions, architectures for CPS, Model Driven Engineering, and architectural design. He is also a researcher at the Uffizi Galleries – UnivAQ project, the CINI Smart Cities and Communities distributed laboratory, the IoT Living Lab in Italy.
