Prof. SUN Jibin, Principal Investigator and Deputy Director-General of Tianjin Institute of Industrial Biotechnology (TIB), Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS). He contributed substantially to the development of industrial biotechnology and bioindustry in China. He is the recipient of the special government allowance of the State Council. His social positions include the Secretary-General of Biomanufacturing Industry (Talent) Alliance, Council Member of China Biotech Fermentation Industry Association and China Society of Microbiology. He is a practitioner in South-South Cooperation and the Founding Director of the COMSATS Joint Center for Industrial Biotechnology.
